From Passion to Impact: Youth Leadership Driving Thailand’s Net Zero Future: Dec 2025

At the 2025 TGO Forum & TCNN Conference, we were honored to be the only youth keynote speakers, invited by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO). We shared our journey from childhood curiosity about reptiles and deep love for nature to founding Below the Tides—a movement uniting youth, communities, fishermen, government, and partners to protect Thailand’s marine life. Through projects like “Zero Starving Sea Turtles,” “Coral Fish Gong Grass @ Koh Maak,” “Long Live Dugong,” mangrove restoration, canal cleanups, climate education, and our fun microplastics awareness campaign, we are driven by the belief that conservation can be impactful and joyful.

One moment that truly touched our hearts was when the drone and power stations we provided for dugong conservation were used by the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources to support flood-hit communities in Hat Yai. These tools helped keep people connected and powered during a blackout—showing us firsthand how even small acts can create unexpected, powerful ripples of hope and help. For us, this proves that when young people act with passion and purpose, we can spark real change—for the environment and for the people who depend on it.
