Canal Crusade: July 24

Finally, we were able to collect trash from the canal after two postponements due to technical problems. We were thrilled to recruit 15 adult volunteers and 3 relatives to join us in completing our mission together. It was a memorable experience, despite the trash and unpleasant odors from it not being collected for two days. Unfortunately, my mother's right leg fell into the water as she was securing a large bag of trash and stepped into a gap. Fortunately, she suffered no severe injury, just a very large bruise. With energy and determination, our group of 20 people collected a total of 1,436 kg of debris from the tides.
