Below the Tides at COP30: Nov 25

UNFCCC, Belem, Brazil
Our journey from Bangkok to Belem took us nearly 60 hours of travel and a total flying distance of 19,594 km one-way (≈ 39,188 km round trip). We flew from Bangkok to Doha, Doha to São Paulo, and finally from São Paulo to Belem — crossing continents and time zones to bring youth voices from Thailand to the global climate stage.
We spent roughly 3 days at COP 30 — a whirlwind squeezed tightly between school terms, leaving no room for extra days. Everything felt condensed and rushed, but what an honor to be there. We had the chance to voice our thoughts, share our community-driven conservation efforts, and directly engage with policy-makers and youth leaders from across the world.
We were also invited to speak on a panel titled “Idea to Action: Youth-led Climate Innovation” and “Regeneration Generation: Youth Action and Meaning-Making in the Climate Crisis,” where we connected grassroots action with global policy discussions — bringing the stories of our seas, our communities, and Thai youth to the world stage.
This gallery captures those intense, inspiring moments — a reminder of how far we travelled (in both distance and purpose) to stand up for our oceans, our future, and our planet.
